I am an experienced, aggressive trial lawyer and take pride in my preparedness and dedication to every case in my office. I do not promote unnecessary litigation, nor do I shy away from a legal battle. When I think that a case should settle or that I have obtained the best offer under the circumstances, I will tell you. I will not, however, advise you to accept an unsatisfactory compromise and in those circumstances, I will aggressively pursue your case to the fullest extent allowed by the law.
I believe that there is no substitute for hard work and preparation and a thorough awareness of case law. My extensive experience and success in litigation and trial distinguishes me from other lawyers. I made my reputation one client at a time, and since attorneys have only one chance at a great reputation, I put every ounce of my ability into every case. The result? Former clients and other attorneys refer many cases to me.
I am significantly involved in the legal community and am a member of the Texas Bar Association's Family Law and Litigation sections; the Texas Trial Lawyers Association; the Criminal Defense Lawyers Association; the Dallas County Bar Association's Family Law Section and the Collins County Bar Association's Family Law and Criminal Defense Sections.
I always attempt to set fees that are fair and reasonable. Fees are currently $200.00 an hour for hourly work. For criminal cases, I offer set fees and on personal injury cases the fees are on a contingency fee basis. Initial consultation fees regarding cases other than personal injury are $50.00 for the first half hour. I am not the least expensive lawyer in town, and do not strive to be. The fees quoted are reasonable in relation to what other attorneys of like experience charge in Dallas County and Collin County.
